To provide an educational opportunityfor each student of St. Malachy Schoolto mature spiritually, intellectually, culturally, socially and physically.
My childhood days and high school years were extremely memorable and enjoyable. Why? I was the oldest of 6 girls, and my parents encouraged us to live life to the full. In our circle of activities, our faith was very important. It was the example of my faith-filled parents that I followed the call to become a Springfield Dominican Sister. Two of my sisters also answered the call to religious life, and sometimes we are known as the "God-Squad." Here at St. Malachy parish, my responsibilities are director of religious education and classroom teacher. Each day, I teach junior high religion and 6th grade math. Education has been an enriching experience for me. I find great joy in teaching students to discover the world, to fulfill their dreams, to count their blessings, and most of all, to be attentive to the God who loves them.
